Astonishing Revelation Of Identity Of A Janitor!

Posthumous Honour

father of Crawford receiving medal on his behalf

After the troops were captured by German army, there was no news of them anywhere. American government waited but they couldn’t find anything so at last with a heavy heart they had to presume them as dead. After this in year 1944, government announced “Medal of Honor” to be awarded to Crawford “posthumously”. This honour was given to his father George, by us major general Terry Allen in a brief and impressive ceremony.
People were totally unaware of the truth that they were captured by German army and they might be still alive.

    1. I am pleased our nation’s military has finally and properly honored these brave men…and mildly proud as a retired Air Force man that our Academy family had a part to play in some of it. I will be looking to visit LT Baker’s gravesite at Arlington to honor him again and again on behalf of a grateful nation and fellow service member.
