Astonishing Revelation Of Identity Of A Janitor!

Bad Luck!

Vernon Baker post retirement ready for hunting

No wonders, if a soldier has served his country with full dedication without any faults, he would be yielding some benefits by the government. But with Baker it was different. Even after his whole sole contribution, he wasn’t given commission. And you won’t believe the reason. The only reason was because he didn’t have a college degree. Yes. That is the reason he was denied his commission. He was obviously respected for his service but the rules got good of him and he lost the benefits. This was where the challenges started.
He again joined Army during Korean War and served the nation as a military man till the year 1968. Later he became a Red Cross counselor.
He was not awarded for his bravery till then. And also he never thought of what was coming his way.

    1. I am pleased our nation’s military has finally and properly honored these brave men…and mildly proud as a retired Air Force man that our Academy family had a part to play in some of it. I will be looking to visit LT Baker’s gravesite at Arlington to honor him again and again on behalf of a grateful nation and fellow service member.
