Rosie Wasn’t Doing Really Well
Although Rosie’s pregnancy was a success, she still suffered some illness. After Rosie’s delivery, John and Katie realize that Rosie had some sort of an infection. They took Rosie to the vet who wrote her some antibiotics for several weeks. Poor Rosie was suffering from a bacterial infection called Metritis in her uterus which usually happens in case of a rough birth. The infection could reduce the production of milk for the new mother making it impossible for her to care for the puppies. Luckily Rosie had Katie and John.
