The Legacy Of Most Decorated US Marine Officer

Devil Dog

still from world war 1

We are well aware of the fact that, marines are known for people who never give up. Puller proved his worth. Even today, his name is chanted in marine boot camp. He was epitome of “Devil Dog” Marine spirit.
The war was over, but not for Puller. He re-enlisted himself as a corporal. He succeeded and joined “the Gendarmerie d’Haiti”, the paramilitary police in Haiti.
