Puller was under commission again in 1924, as a second lieutenant. This incident took place after he served in Haiti. The next four years, Puller spent by going around different bases in Virginia, where he worked hard as a trainer. The interesting fact is, that this period of time is considered as the most calm time in his entire life. Because after this, the doors of hell were open for him.
