Puller went to Parris Island in South Carolina and joined an elite branch’s boot camp. Puller was strongly inspired by his marine heroes. The heroes who were doing their best together with French and British army at Battle of Belleau Wood, France in 1918. But again this plan of his didn’t work out the way he wanted it to. But patience and hard work pays off eventually.
